Easter Eggs on Outreach

Thanks to our friends at the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust, we are able to share a little bit of Easter cheer with our patrons in Brisbane City, Brisbane North and Wynnum Manly.

Over 450 eggs will be given out this weekend across these branches and many smiles will be shared amongst patrons and volunteers alike.

While it might seem like a small gesture, the handing over of a chocolate egg to our patrons signifies a small element of “normalcy” it what may be the most challenging time of their lives. It shows that someone values them, has thought of them, and wanted to ensure that they didn’t go without.

It might just be a chocolate egg, but it means so much more.
