Monday, 18 April 2016, TAFE Queensland Brisbane’s Senior Studies students have supported local homeless and not for profit organisation Rosies by organising a fundraising BBQ as part of their assessment. Education, opportunity, and a good cause came together as the Year 11 and 12 students at the TAFE Queensland Brisbane’s Alexandra Hills campus.
“Our students chose to raise funds for Rosies after they had studied youth homelessness as part of English Communication and were moved by the plight of some of their fellow students who have experienced this,” said Liz Morgan, TAFE Queensland Brisbane Senior Studies Teacher.
