Sponsorship – Rosies
For more than 30 years we have relied on the local community and generous corporate partners to keep us on the street and in the communities where we are needed most.
Our partners share our mission, which is to provide friendship and connection to those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or are socially isolated.
Partners engage with us in a variety of ways, contributing funds, time and expertise to keep our vans fuelled, maintained, and stocked and our team of volunteers fully supported.
Why Rosies ?
Rosies is a volunteer-based not for profit organisation that commenced in Queensland in 1987. We reach out to those most in need, those people who are experiencing homelessness, at risk or homelessness, or are socially isolated. Rosies focuses on providing friendship and unconditional acceptance during difficult times by offering varying levels of hospitality based on community need. Through connection and friendship we aim to acknowledge human dignity, combat social isolation, and inspire increased self-reliance.
Rosies currently operates 14 branches across Queensland comprised of more than 1,300 volunteers, with outreach programs running somewhere in the state every single night of the year. Additionally we provide court support and youth detention support as well as a school engagement program with 50 schools and some 1500 students and teachers.
Over 98% of our work is funded through kind donations from our local community.
Ways to Partner
Sponsor a Van
Aside from our volunteers our vans are our greatest asset and our largest expense.
Vans allow us to get into the communities where we are needed most and act as a natural congregation point for our patrons on outreach.
Van sponsorship includes ongoing maintenance costs, fuel, insurance, and the costs for its associated outreach.

Sponsor our Volunteers
We currently have 1,300 volunteers (and growing every day!) out on the street each night and while they contribute upwards of 2.4million dollars worth of their time each year, they need your support to thrive.
Uniforms, name badges, and additional training are just some of the items that we need to provide for each volunteer to ensure that they are well equipped to engage with patrons.

In-Kind and Pro Bono Support

Workplace Giving
Workplace giving also known as payroll giving is a simple way for staff to regularly donate a portion of their pre-tax salary to Rosies.
The employer pays the donation directly to Rosies each payday, employers can then donation match to double the impact.
Each contribution no matter how big or small has an impact.
It reduces both taxable income and administration cost.
Contact your HR or payroll department and ask for Rosies Youth Mission Inc (Rosies – Friends on the Street) to be listed as a charity partner.
