Jayne Shallcross

Jayne is an experienced board member, with a strong focus on governance, strategy and risk management, and significant experience as a senior executive in corporate and not-for-profit sectors nationally and internationally.
She is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an MBA and a Bachelors’ of Business (Finance and Economics). Jayne is also Deputy Chair, Chair of the Risk Committee and member of the Finance Committee at Duchesne College (UQ).
She has a strong strategic orientation, demonstrating the capacity to quickly understand multifaceted and complex business situations; strong team focus, working closely with Board members, Executive Management and key stakeholders to develop strategic direction. She has a proven ability to design, lead and implement strategy across complex organisations in a variety of environments (corporate, SME and NFP) and industries. Jayne’s demonstrated commercial acumen, with large P&L and budgeting responsibility and in-depth understanding of financials and budgetary controls shows her substantial experience in analysis of financial and operational performance with a strong focus on governance and risk management.
She has proven leadership capability, leading with integrity and commitment, and is flexible, consultative and has a transparent approach. She is an experienced business leader with the ability to lead, coach and develop managerial teams to achieve strategic and performance based goals.
With her well developed communication skills, excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, and experience working with diverse stakeholder groups, she is an asset to Rosies.
