Knights of the Southern Cross Wynnum Manly Branch support those in need

Knights of the Southern Cross presenting the $1,000 cheque to Rosies volunteers

Recently the Wynnum Manly Branch of the Knights of the Southern Cross conducted a raffle at Guardian Angels and Manly Parishes to support Rosies – Friends of the Street, and raised $1,000.

Thanks to their support the Rosies Van is being replenished with tea and coffee, food items, drinks, warm clothing, and personal hygiene items, which will go a long way to assist those with nowhere to call home.

Representatives of the Knights of the Southern Cross dropped in to visit our team on Monday morning when the Rosies volunteers were prepping for outreach at St Peters in Bride Street in partnership with St Pete’s pantry.

We are so grateful to the Knights of the Southern Cross Wynnum Manly branch and for all of the members of the community who help fund the vital and life changing work of our volunteers.

If you’re struggling or are just looking for a safe place to have a friendly chat – we’d love to see you for a cuppa.
