Rosies Cairns was invited by the Dr. Koch foundation to join in the celebrations of Mental Health Week. We were well received with a visit from a former Rosie Cairns patron who thanked us for being there. Craig had a really big smile on his face as he and his friends stopped by the Rosies stall to say thank you and share his story briefly how he had been homeless and how Rosies had given him the helping hand that he needed. It’s stories like this that inspires Rosie’s volunteers who are dedicated and committed to reaching those who are marginalised, lonely and abandoned. Never judging anyone, but welcoming all those who need our services and our friendship to help them along their journey to a better place.
